Intercom (the helpdesk product; the company also markets Fin) is an AI-first customer service platform built around in-app Messenger, a shared inbox, and Fin AI Agent. Fin is on Intercom’s public plans and is billed with outcome charges. WhatsApp is a billed channel — pay-as-you-go alongside other usage, not an unlimited included inbox. Public plans are typically per-seat. Confirm current packaging on Intercom’s site.

No. This page is a fit note, not a migration kit. Some teams will stay on Intercom. InboxBay is for teams whose main job is a shared WhatsApp / Instagram inbox.
Is InboxBay cheaper than Intercom?
We will not say that. InboxBay list prices are not published yet, and other vendors change packaging. Compare the job, then ask each vendor for a number.
Do you have ratings or awards versus Intercom?
No. This page has no star ratings, review counts, or awards. Those would be invented.
Who pays Meta’s WhatsApp message fees?
Meta bills WhatsApp per delivered template or marketing message. Conversation-based pricing was deprecated as of 1 July 2025. InboxBay does not collect or mark up Meta’s fees. You keep the WhatsApp Business number.
