InboxBay does not replace Instagram — the team works those DMs in the same workspace as WhatsApp once both are connected.

Can we assign Instagram DMs to employees?
Yes. A conversation can have a team and/or an individual assignee. Unassigned DMs stay visible in the queue. Notes stay on that thread.
What happens if two people reply to the same Instagram DM?
Collision detection shows if a teammate is already typing on that conversation. Assignment makes the reply someone’s job. Two people can still both be in the queue — the owner is the point.
Does this include Instagram comments, story replies, or comment-to-DM?
No. This page is DMs in a team queue. InboxBay does not replace Instagram or Meta Business Suite, and it does not ship comment-to-DM or story-reply automation.
